Felixstowe New Beginnings meets every Tuesday at 7pm for around an hour and a quarter at Christ Church on Grange Farm Avenue. It's a closed AA meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than family, friends, or visiting professionals. The name suggests a meeting particularly geared towards those starting out in recovery, though all members with the desire to stop drinking are welcome regardless of how long they have been attending. Christ Church also hosts a Saturday meeting, so the building has a regular rhythm of AA activity through the week. The venue is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge to attend and no booking system, so anyone who fits the closed-meeting criteria can simply arrive for 7pm.
