Cumbernauld: Midday

Midday meets, as its name promises, at noon on Wednesdays in Greenfaulds Community Hall on Lochinvar Road, Cumbernauld. It's a closed AA meeting, open to people with a desire to stop drinking rather than to visitors or professionals sitting in on the discussion. A lunchtime meeting like this tends to draw people who prefer to keep recovery separate from their evenings, whether because of work, family commitments or simply a preference for getting a meeting done early in the day. Greenfaulds Community Hall is wheelchair accessible, so the venue itself shouldn't present a barrier. Along with several other AA meetings in the same part of Cumbernauld, it forms part of a fairly dense local schedule for anyone building several meetings a week into their routine.
