CLOSED Bank Holidays. This meeting gathers in a facility that is usually closed on holidays.
The Freedom From Addiction Group meets every Monday evening in Dundalk, gathering at the Redeemer Family Resource Centre on Beechmount Drive in Cox's Demesne. The meeting runs from 7.30pm for an hour, giving members a regular midweek anchor to share experience and support one another in recovery. This is a Narcotics Anonymous group for anyone with a desire to stop using drugs, and it follows the NA programme of recovery through shared honesty and the twelve steps. One practical thing worth noting: the meeting does not run on bank holidays, as the centre where it gathers is usually closed on those days. If you are new and unsure, arriving a few minutes early gives you time to settle before things get underway. You are welcome here.
Who can attend this meeting?
This is a closed meeting, which means it is for people who have a desire to stop using drugs. It is a members-only space where those in recovery can speak openly among others who understand. If you think NA might be for you, you are welcome to come along.
Do I need to book or pay anything?
No. There is no booking and no charge to attend. Narcotics Anonymous has no fees or dues, so you can simply turn up on the Monday. NA is self-supporting through members' own voluntary contributions.
Does the meeting run on bank holidays?
No. This meeting is closed on bank holidays, as the Redeemer Family Resource Centre where it gathers is usually shut on those days. On any other Monday it runs at 7.30pm.
