Clacton's Tuesday night AA meeting is held at 8pm at St James Church Hall on Tower Road in Clacton-on-Sea, running for an hour and a half. It is an open meeting, so everyone is welcome - people who have a desire to stop drinking, husbands and wives, parents, friends, and workers from local services wanting to see AA in action. Nobody has to speak or give more than a first name; sitting and listening is a perfectly good way to spend a first meeting. The church hall is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge and no booking or referral - just make your way to Tower Road for 8pm on a Tuesday.
