The Format of the Meeting Alternates from an Experience, Strength & Hope Main Share and NA Literature.
This Narcotics Anonymous group gathers each Wednesday evening at Chatburn Village Hall on Downham Road, just outside Clitheroe in the Ribble Valley. Doors are open to anyone, and the meeting runs from 7.30pm for an hour and a half. The format changes week to week, alternating between an Experience, Strength and Hope main share, where a speaker talks openly about recovery, and an NA literature study where the group reads and discusses together. It is an open meeting, so family, friends and anyone curious about NA are welcome alongside members. Children are welcome, and so are pets. The hall has wheelchair access. If you are new, arrive a little early and someone will make you feel at home.
Who can come to this meeting?
Everyone. This is an open NA meeting, so people with a desire to stop using drugs are welcome, along with family, friends and anyone interested in learning about Narcotics Anonymous. Children and pets are welcome too.
Do I need to book, and is there a charge?
No booking is needed and there is no charge. NA is free to attend. Just turn up at Chatburn Village Hall for 7.30pm on Wednesday. A small voluntary collection covers room hire and refreshments, but you never have to give anything.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Chatburn Village Hall has wheelchair access. Hearing loop provision hasn't been confirmed, so if you have specific access needs it's worth contacting the group ahead of your first visit.
