Canterbury – Small But Mighty

Small But Mighty is the name given to Canterbury's ACA meeting, held every Wednesday at 7.30pm at the Friends Meeting House. The fellowship is for adults whose formative years were affected by a parent's drinking or by wider family dysfunction, and its programme centres on healing from that childhood experience rather than on stopping a present-day behaviour. Because the meeting is open, friends, partners and professionals are just as welcome as those who identify with growing up in that kind of home. The name refers simply to how this particular group describes itself; the format follows the usual ACA pattern of shared experience. There's no fee and no need to contact anyone in advance; anyone interested can simply walk in shortly before the meeting starts.
