About this meeting

On Fridays at 19:30, the C.A. Mervue group holds a Speaker Meeting at the Sonas Social Centre on Walter Macken Place, Mervue, Galway. Rather than open sharing around the room, this format centres on one or more members telling their own story of active addiction and recovery through Cocaine Anonymous. The meeting is kept for CA members, in line with the group's Tuesday Big Book Study held at the same venue. Cocaine Anonymous asks only a desire to stop using cocaine and all other mind-altering substances of anyone attending, and Speaker meetings like this one give members a chance to hear that experience told in full rather than in shorter shares. The Sonas Social Centre sits within the Mervue area of Galway city.
