Bristol Women is a women-only Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held every Tuesday at 7pm at Parkway Methodist Church on Conduit Place, St Werburghs. It runs for an hour and is a closed meeting, so it is kept for women who have a desire to stop drinking. Many women find it easier to speak plainly about their drinking, and about the things tangled up with it, in a room without men, and this meeting exists to give Bristol exactly that space. The church is wheelchair accessible. St Werburghs sits just north-east of the city centre, and the same venue hosts other AA meetings during the week, including a young persons meeting on Sundays.
