Bournemouth District Thursday Group

Bournemouth District Thursday Group meets every Thursday at 7pm at Moordown Community Centre on Coronation Avenue in Bournemouth. As an open Overeaters Anonymous meeting, it's for anyone affected by compulsive eating, whether that's someone with a desire to stop eating compulsively themselves or a family member, friend or professional wanting to understand the fellowship better. The format follows OA's usual approach of shared experience and discussion based on the Twelve Steps, without charge or the need for professional qualifications to attend. Newcomers don't need to book ahead; simply arrive at the community centre shortly before 7pm. The venue is easy to find in the BH9 postcode area, on the Moordown side of Bournemouth, and welcomes people at any stage of recovery.
