Bournemouth Big Book Study

This Saturday evening Big Book study meets at 6pm at St Albans Church, 21 Linwood Road in Bournemouth, with the entrance via Fitzharris Avenue, and lasts an hour. It is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, kept for people who have a desire to stop drinking, and the format centres on studying the Big Book, AA's foundational text. Worth knowing: on the last Saturday of each month, the group also holds an open Big Book Workshop from 4.30pm to 5.30pm, which anyone may attend, making that a good option if you want to bring someone with you or are simply curious about how the book is used. The church is wheelchair accessible, and as with all AA meetings there is no charge and no booking.
