Bishops Stortford Speaker

Bishop's Stortford's Monday night Speaker meeting runs from 8pm to 9.30pm at The Hub Church on Portland Road. At a speaker meeting a member tells their own story at some length, what drinking was like, what changed and what life is like now, before the floor opens for shares; many people find hearing one full story more helpful than fragments. The meeting is closed, which in AA terms means it is kept for people who have, or think they may have, a desire to stop drinking, first-timers very much included. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed at this venue. As with every AA meeting there is no charge and no booking, and nobody is obliged to speak.
