Every Tuesday at 7.30pm, Gamblers Anonymous meets in Basildon at St Andrew's Church on The Fremnells, running for a full two hours. The meeting is open, so anyone affected by gambling can attend, whether personally or as a partner, parent or friend of someone else. Members work through the twelve steps together, sharing their own experience honestly and in confidence. There is no charge to attend and no need to book a place in advance; just arrive a little before half past seven and ask for the group when you get there. With two hours set aside, there's time for a good range of sharing, whether you're new to the fellowship or have been attending for years.
