About this meeting

Barrow meets on Wednesday evenings at 8pm at the Guide Headquarters on Weston Road in Long Ashton, near Bristol. The meeting lasts an hour and is closed, which in Alcoholics Anonymous means it is held for people who have a desire to stop drinking. If you are coming for the first time, closed does not mean private or unwelcoming; the format simply gives people the freedom to speak openly among others who understand from the inside. Anyone wanting to bring a supporter, or attend as a professional, should look for an open meeting instead. The venue is wheelchair accessible. There is nothing to pay, no list to join and no booking to make; arriving a little before 8pm on any Wednesday is all it takes.
