About this meeting

Every Monday at 6pm, Barnsley women's rising brings members of Narcotics Anonymous together in Barnsley, at St Paul's Church Hall. It is a women's meeting, for women only. In line with Narcotics Anonymous's own tradition, the sole basis for attending is a desire to stop using drugs. Narcotics Anonymous is a worldwide fellowship of people who share their experience with one another in order to recover from addiction. Attendance is free, and nobody is asked to sign up in advance or give their details beforehand. The meeting is run entirely by its own members, in the peer-support tradition the fellowship has followed for decades.
