Barnsley Big Book Study

Barnsley Big Book Study is a closed AA meeting held every Sunday at 6.30pm at the Church of the Nazarene on Oxford Street. Over the course of an hour and a half, the group works steadily through the Big Book, the core text of Alcoholics Anonymous, discussing its chapters and stories in detail. Because it is closed, attendance is limited to AA members and those with a desire to stop drinking, rather than being open to the wider public or visiting professionals. The church premises are wheelchair accessible, so getting into the building should not pose a problem. There is no fee to take part and no booking system; those who meet the closed meeting criteria can simply come along on the night.
