Held every Tuesday evening at the Methodist Church on Bishop Street in central Leicester, Back To Basic's is a welcoming Narcotics Anonymous meeting with newcomers firmly in mind. The format alternates between a main chair and a reading aimed at those new to NA, so if you're walking in for the first time you won't feel lost. Running from 7:15pm for around an hour and three-quarters, sessions here take in candlelight, speaker shares, literature study and work from the Step Working Guide. Pets are welcome too. To find it, use the side entrance at 10A Bishop Street: the gate is to the right of the coffee shop and main entrance, and there's a buzzer if it's closed. On-street parking is available, and the station is an eight-minute walk away.

Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including family, friends and professionals. It's also a designated beginner and newcomer meeting, with the format built around helping people new to NA feel at ease. Anyone with a desire to stop using drugs is welcome to attend.
