About this meeting

Allestree's Alcoholics Anonymous meeting is held on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm at St Nicholas Church, 2 Lawn Avenue, in the Allestree suburb on the north side of Derby. Lasting an hour and a half, it is a closed meeting, an AA term meaning it is kept for people who have a desire to stop drinking; if you want to stop, you are welcome without any referral, whether or not you have been to AA before. The church is wheelchair accessible, and the group operates a chit system, so attendance slips can be signed for court, probation or treatment evidence. There is no charge, and nothing needs arranging in advance.
