ACA for Boarding School Survivors meets every Wednesday at 6.30pm at St Columba's Church on Pont Street in Knightsbridge, central London. ACA, or Adult Children of Alcoholics, is for adults who grew up with a parent's drinking or with other family dysfunction; the fellowship's focus is on healing from those childhood experiences rather than on changing a habit today. Because the meeting is open, friends, partners and professionals are just as welcome as those who identify with growing up in that kind of home. The meeting has a particular focus on those whose formative years were shaped by boarding school, as well as, or alongside, a parent's drinking or other family dysfunction. It's free to attend and there's no booking system in place - anyone interested can simply come along on the day.
