ACAD From Surviving to Thriving

Aberporth Village Hall hosts an Adult Children of Alcoholics meeting called Surviving to Thriving, held every Monday at 6am. ACA is for adults who grew up with alcoholism or other family dysfunction in their childhood home, and the fellowship uses the Twelve Steps to work through the lasting effects of that upbringing rather than to stop a behaviour in the present. This is an open meeting, so anyone who identifies with that experience is welcome, including newcomers who have never been to ACA before. Sharing is entirely voluntary, and no one is required to speak. The meeting is free to attend, and there is no need to register or book a place beforehand.
