Hemel Hempstead Lunchtime Big Book

Hemel Hempstead Lunchtime Big Book meets on Wednesdays at 1pm at Chaulden Community Centre, 38 Long Chaulden, and lasts an hour, a length that fits inside many lunch breaks. Each week the group studies Alcoholics Anonymous, the Big Book, reading and sharing around the text at the heart of the AA programme. It is a closed meeting, meaning it is intended for people who have a desire to stop drinking rather than for visitors or supporters; anyone who is concerned about their own drinking is welcome, first meeting or not. The community centre is wheelchair accessible. As with every AA meeting there is no charge, no register and no booking; simply arrive shortly before 1pm on a Wednesday.
