Wilmslow

Wilmslow's Wednesday meeting is held at the United Reformed Church on Chapel Lane, starting at 7.30pm and running for an hour and a quarter. It is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so anyone is welcome: people examining their own drinking, family and friends, and professionals wanting to see how AA works. That makes it the natural first stop among Wilmslow's meetings, since the others in town are closed. The church is wheelchair accessible. As at every AA meeting, there is no cost, no booking and no pressure to speak; you can sit at the back and listen for the whole meeting if that is what you need. Arriving a few minutes early helps you settle.
