Wickford Share

Wickford Share meets every Tuesday evening at Wickford Evangelical Church, 9 Nevendon Road, from 7.30pm to 9pm. As a share meeting, it revolves around members telling their own stories of drinking and recovery, which is often the thing that convinces a newcomer they are in the right place: hearing your own experience described by a stranger. The meeting is open, so anyone may attend, including partners, family members, friends and professionals. The church is wheelchair accessible. Wickford sits between Basildon and the Crouch valley, and this is the town's own weekly meeting, sparing residents a trip to Basildon or Rayleigh. There is no charge and no booking; arriving a few minutes early is all the preparation needed.
