Whitwell Experience, Strength & Hope

Experience, Strength and Hope meets in the village of Whitwell, between Worksop and Clowne, on Thursday evenings at 7pm at Whitwell Community Centre on The Square, Portland Street. The name comes from the way AA members share: not advice, but their own experience, strength and hope. The meeting runs for an hour and a half and is open, so anyone may attend, including family members, friends and professionals as well as people with a desire to stop drinking. The community centre is wheelchair accessible. There is never a charge for an AA meeting and no booking is needed; you can arrive on the night, take a seat and simply listen if that is all you want to do.
