Whitefield meets on Wednesdays at 7.30pm at St Michaels Parish Church on Ribble Drive, running for about an hour and a half. This is a closed meeting, meaning it is intended for those with a desire to stop drinking rather than open to family, friends or professionals hoping to observe. Wheelchair accessibility at the church has not been confirmed, so it would be worth contacting the local AA service beforehand if step-free access is needed. There is no fee to attend and no requirement to book ahead, in keeping with every AA meeting: people can simply turn up on the night. Alongside the Friday meeting at the same church, it gives Whitefield a couple of weekly options within walking distance of each other.
