The West Kent Tuesday Group meets every Tuesday evening at 7pm in Wateringbury Village Hall, just off Tonbridge Road near Maidstone. This is an Overeaters Anonymous meeting for anyone with a desire to stop eating compulsively, following a Big Book and Speaker format. Sessions draw on OA literature and include a member sharing their experience, which many newcomers find easier than being asked to speak straight away. As an open meeting, family members, friends and interested professionals are welcome alongside those who attend for themselves. There is no need to book and nothing to pay. Who can attend this meeting?

This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including people with a desire to stop eating compulsively as well as family, friends and professionals who want to understand OA. You do not need a referral or any prior contact.

Do I need to book or pay?

No. OA meetings are free to attend and there is no booking system. Just come along on a Tuesday for the 7pm start. A voluntary collection covers room hire and expenses, but you are never obliged to give anything.
