About this meeting

Held every Monday evening in West Howe, the "It Works!" group meets at Cornerstone Church on Holloway Avenue in Bournemouth. Doors are open to anyone, whether you're new to Narcotics Anonymous or have been around the rooms for years. The format brings together a speaker, step study and open sharing, so you'll hear from someone's experience as well as have space to talk if you want to. There's parking at the venue and on the road nearby, and the side entrance has a wheelchair ramp. A few house rules keep things simple: no smoking or vaping on the premises (please step outside the car park), and no dogs. Meetings run for an hour and a half, starting at 7.30pm.

Common questions

Can I come along if I'm not sure I belong here?

Yes. This is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including family, friends and professionals. The only requirement for NA membership is a desire to stop using drugs, and you're welcome whether you're new or just want to listen.

Do I need to book or pay anything?

No. There's no booking and no charge to attend. NA meetings are free and run by members. A basket is passed round for voluntary contributions to cover costs like room hire, but you never have to give anything.

Is there parking and step-free access?

There's parking at the venue and on the road nearby. The side entrance has a wheelchair ramp. Please note there's no smoking or vaping on the premises, and no dogs.
