Watford Freedom Seekers meets on Saturdays at 6pm at St Andrew's Church Hall on Church Road, running for an hour and a quarter. The early-evening Saturday slot is well judged: late enough to gather the day, early enough to leave the evening intact, and squarely placed at the point in the week many people find hardest. It is an open meeting, so everyone is welcome, whether you have a desire to stop drinking, are alongside someone who does, or attend professionally. The hall is wheelchair accessible. Nobody is required to speak and first names are all that is used. Attendance is free, and there is no booking; arrive a few minutes before 6pm and take a seat.
