Washington's Saturday evening meeting takes place at St Bedes Church on Coach Rd, running for an hour and a half from half past seven. It is a closed meeting, held for AA members to discuss recovery from a desire to stop drinking within a settled Saturday night group. The church is wheelchair accessible, though hearing loop provision has not been confirmed, and no chit system is offered at this meeting. St Bedes Church gives Washington's members a regular weekend fixture, set apart from the town's weekday options and offering a longer session than many of the shorter weekday meetings nearby.
