Warrington Padgate

Padgate's Alcoholics Anonymous meeting runs on Saturday nights at 8pm at Padgate Methodist Church on Padgate Lane, on the east side of Warrington. Lasting an hour and a half, it occupies the heart of Saturday evening, which for many people early in sobriety is precisely when a meeting is most useful. It is a closed meeting, meaning it is for people who have a desire to stop drinking, or who have started questioning their drinking; that is the only qualification, and newcomers can arrive unannounced. The church is wheelchair accessible. There is no charge and no booking, and anonymity is taken seriously; you will only ever be asked for a first name.
