Turloughmore Cuan Mhuire is an Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held at Cuan Mhuire in Coolarne, Turloughmore, Co. Galway, on Tuesday evenings at 8.30pm. The meeting takes its name from the treatment centre that hosts it, a well-known facility in this part of east Galway. It is a members meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking, rather than an open meeting for family, friends or professionals to observe. There is no charge and nothing to book in advance, so anyone who fits that description can simply arrive before 8.30pm. As with most Alcoholics Anonymous meetings, expect a short reading followed by sharing, with everyone free to speak or listen. Wheelchair accessibility at Cuan Mhuire has not been confirmed for this meeting, so it would be worth checking directly if this is important to you.
