A second Torquay AA meeting is held at St Mary Magdalene Church Hall on Union St every Monday at 7.30pm, also lasting about an hour and a half. Like the Friday meeting at the same venue, this is an open one, so family, friends, and anyone interested in the fellowship are welcome alongside those with a desire to stop drinking. Starting the week with a Monday evening meeting can help some people settle into a routine after the weekend. The hall is wheelchair accessible. Attendance is free, there is no need to book, and newcomers are encouraged to simply come along and take a seat before things begin.
