The Promise

The Promise is a closed Narcotics Anonymous meeting held every Thursday at 8pm in the meeting room at the Homeless Health Service, within the Compass Centre on Jamaica Street in Bristol, and lasts an hour. It is for people with a desire to stop using drugs rather than being open to the general public, and the format is geared towards beginners and newcomers, built around an experience, strength and hope share. It is not suitable for children. Ring the buzzer at the front door to be let in. The venue is wheelchair accessible, and there is no charge or need to book a place, so anyone who fits the closed-meeting criteria can simply arrive on the night.
