The Flip Side is a speaker meeting held online every Saturday at 6.30pm, UK and Ireland time, that looks at the positive counterpart to the Laundry List, the traits Adult Children of Alcoholics often recognise from growing up with a parent's drinking or other family dysfunction. Rather than focusing only on the difficulties those traits describe, the meeting hears from a speaker each week about the strengths and recovery qualities that can grow in their place. It is an open meeting, so friends, family members and professionals interested in the fellowship are welcome to listen alongside members. Newcomers are not asked to speak and can simply take in the speaker's share.
