The Crypt, Glasgow South

Known locally as The Crypt, this Glasgow South meeting is an Adult Children of Alcoholics group held every Sunday at 2pm on Belleisle Street, near Dixon Avenue. ACA brings together adults whose childhood was shaped by a parent's drinking or by other family dysfunction, using the twelve steps to work through the lasting effects of that upbringing rather than to stop a habit of their own. It is an open meeting, so anyone is welcome, including people who did not grow up in that kind of home but want to support or understand someone who did. There is no charge and nothing to book; newcomers can simply arrive on Belleisle Street for the two o'clock start.
