Talk, Trust and Feel meets online every Friday at 7.45pm, UK and Ireland time, taking its name from a phrase Adult Children of Alcoholics use for the three things a dysfunctional childhood often teaches people not to do. The meeting gives space to practise exactly that: speaking honestly, trusting the group, and naming feelings without minimising them. It is open to anyone whose upbringing involved a parent's drinking or other family dysfunction, and, as an open meeting, friends, family members and professionals are also welcome to listen in alongside members. There is no pressure to share on your first visit; many people attend several times before finding the words for their own experience.
