Tadley Newcomers meets on Monday evenings at 8pm at Tadley Methodist Church on Newchurch Road and lasts an hour. As the name says, the meeting is geared towards people who are new to Alcoholics Anonymous or new to sobriety, keeping the focus on the basics of how members stop drinking and stay stopped; that said, experienced members attend too, and their being there is a large part of what makes a newcomers meeting work. It is an open meeting, so family, friends and professionals are welcome as well as anyone with a desire to stop drinking. The church is wheelchair accessible.
