About this meeting

Sunday Serenity is a Narcotics Anonymous meeting held every Sunday at midday in the Oakes area of Huddersfield, at FOCAL Community Centre. In line with Narcotics Anonymous's own tradition, the sole basis for attending is a desire to stop using drugs. Narcotics Anonymous is a non-professional, self-supporting fellowship of people who meet regularly to help one another stay clean. As with all NA meetings, there is no fee and no booking system, so you can come along without any prior arrangement. Meetings are led by members in recovery, and sharing is always voluntary, so newcomers can simply listen for as long as they need.

Common questions

Can anyone come along?

There is no referral process and no gatekeeping beyond Narcotics Anonymous's own membership requirement, which is simply a desire to stop using drugs.

How much does it cost?

Nothing. NA meetings are free to attend and do not require registration beforehand.

What should I bring?

Nothing in particular. There is no requirement beyond turning up; some members bring a notebook, but it is optional.
