About this meeting

Every Sunday at 10am, Sunday Morning Basic Text Study, Line by Line brings members of Narcotics Anonymous together in the Southwark area of south-east London, at Rennie Hall. In line with Narcotics Anonymous's own tradition, the sole basis for attending is a desire to stop using drugs. Narcotics Anonymous is a worldwide fellowship of people who share their experience with one another in order to recover from addiction. It is free to attend and there is no need to register beforehand, in keeping with how NA meetings are run right across the country. It follows the usual NA format of members sharing their own experience with one another, rather than receiving formal treatment or counselling.

Common questions

Can anyone come along?

There is no referral process and no gatekeeping beyond Narcotics Anonymous's own membership requirement, which is simply a desire to stop using drugs.

Do I need to book a place?

No booking is needed and there is no charge. Just come along a few minutes before 10am on the Sunday.

Do I need any recovery experience to attend?

No. Whether it is your first meeting or you have been coming for years, everyone takes part at their own pace.
