Steps To Sobriety

Steps to Sobriety meets on Friday nights at 8pm at Victoria Methodist Church, 1A Whiteladies Road, at the bottom of Whiteladies Road near the Triangle and Bristol's West End. The hour-long meeting is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, held for people who have a desire to stop drinking; supporters and professionals are pointed to the city's open meetings. Friday at 8pm is prime drinking time in this part of Bristol, and there is something fitting about a sober room holding its own amid it, exactly when members most need one. The church is wheelchair accessible. The same venue hosts The Fourth Dimension on Tuesday evenings.
