This is a closed OA meeting, which means it's for people who have a desire to stop eating compulsively. If that's you, you're welcome — there's no need to have attended before. Someone will be outside to greet newcomers on arrival.

Do I need to book, and is there a charge?

No booking is needed and there's no charge to attend. OA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a voluntary collection may be passed round, but you never have to give anything, especially at your first meeting.

What happens at the meeting?

The group studies the OA Steps and/or Traditions, with the focus varying week to week. Meetings run in English. You're welcome to simply sit and listen — no one is required to speak or share until they feel ready.
