Soho These Are The Steps We Took meets on Thursday evenings, starting a little later than most at 7.20pm, and runs for an hour at St Annes Church on Dean St, right in the middle of Soho. It is an open Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, so it is not limited to people with a desire to stop drinking, meaning friends, relatives or anyone curious about the programme can also attend and listen. As the name suggests, the format centres on step work and members sharing how they have applied the Twelve Steps in their own recovery. St Annes Church sits between Old Compton Street and Shaftesbury Avenue, alongside other AA meetings held at the same venue on different days.
