On Sunday evenings, Slane AA meets at 7.30pm, again in the Slane Youth Cafe on Chapel Street, Hill of Slane, giving a weekend option alongside the Thursday lunchtime session. No format is followed, so members share openly during the meeting. It remains a members-only Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, for people with a desire to stop drinking, though a newcomer is welcome from the first visit. Those unable to attend in person can request a link to an online meeting by emailing [email protected]. There is no charge for the in-person session and no booking required. Wheelchair accessibility at the venue has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs should check with the group beforehand.
Is there an online alternative to attending in Slane
Yes, emailing [email protected] in advance will get you a link to an online meeting instead of attending the Youth Cafe in person.
Can a newcomer attend the Sunday meeting
