On Friday evenings, Skerries AA meets at 8pm, again at Cornerstone Church on Strand Street. This second weekly gathering is also a closed meeting, reserved for people who share a desire to stop drinking, and it draws on the same Third Tradition principle as its Monday counterpart. Sharing tends to be informal and unhurried, giving members a chance to close out the working week in company that understands. Those who cannot attend in person can email [email protected] to ask about joining an online version of the meeting instead. Wheelchair access has not been confirmed for this venue. There is never a charge for attending an AA meeting, and no booking or membership form is required beforehand.
