Shaftesbury Big Book Study

Shaftesbury Big Book Study meets on Thursday evenings at 7.30pm in the Methodist Church Hall on Bell Street, SP7 8AR, in the centre of the Dorset hilltop town. The entrance is through the iron gates at the side of 4 Parsons Pool, and the meeting is held in a first-floor room. Over an hour and a half the group reads and discusses the Big Book, the basic text of Alcoholics Anonymous, which suits anyone wanting to understand the programme properly. It is an open meeting, so all are welcome, including family, friends and professionals. The venue is listed as wheelchair accessible. There is no charge and no need to book or be referred.
