About this meeting

Al-Anon Scarborough meets every Thursday at 7.30pm at Westborough Methodist Church on Westborough in the town centre. The group welcomes anyone whose life is or has been affected by someone else's drinking, including partners, parents, adult children and friends, whether the drinking is still happening or belongs to the past. It's an open meeting, so there's no referral process and no need for any previous experience of Al-Anon or Alcoholics Anonymous. Members meet to share their own experience of coping with someone else's drinking, giving one another understanding rather than advice aimed at the drinker. Newcomers from Scarborough and the surrounding area are welcome to attend without warning, and there is no obligation to speak.
