Held every Saturday morning at 11:00, Relief In Leith is a Narcotics Anonymous meeting that runs for an hour in the cafe at Leith Community Centre. The community centre sits upstairs from the main precinct of shops, with the steps leading up directly in front of Greggs the Bakers. Once you're through the main doors, the meeting room is the first on your right, just past the offices. This is a topic share-back format, so members choose a subject and take turns sharing around it. Children and pets are welcome, which makes it easy if you can't arrange cover. As an open meeting, anyone is welcome to come along, whether you're new to NA or simply want to understand what the fellowship is about.
Who can attend this meeting?
This is an open Narcotics Anonymous meeting, so everyone is welcome, including family, friends and anyone curious about NA. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop using drugs. Children and pets are welcome too.
Do I need to book, and is there a cost?
No booking is needed and there is no charge. Just turn up on the Saturday. NA is self-supporting through members' own contributions, so a small collection may be passed round, but you don't have to give anything.
How do I find the room?
The community centre is upstairs from the main shopping precinct. The steps up are directly in front of Greggs the Bakers. Come through the main doors and the meeting is the first room on your right, just past the offices. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
