Pype Hayes

Pype Hayes meets early on Monday evenings, at 6pm, at Pype Hayes United Reformed Church on Chester Road, directly opposite Pype Hayes Park in Birmingham. The meeting lasts an hour, making it manageable straight after work, and it is open, so anyone may attend, whether for their own drinking or to support someone else. The church is wheelchair accessible. If a study format appeals, the same venue also hosts a Big Book meeting on Friday nights at 8pm. Newcomers can expect to be welcomed, left to listen if they prefer, and never charged or asked to book. The only requirement for AA membership is a desire to stop drinking, and simply attending an open meeting requires even less.
