Pontefract Step

Pontefract Step meets every Monday at 7.30pm at Central Methodist Church, 48 Ropergate, in the middle of Pontefract. As a Step meeting, each week centres on one of AA's Twelve Steps, giving the hour a clear shape and making it a practical choice if you want to understand how the programme actually works rather than just hear general shares. It is an open meeting, so anyone may attend, including family members, friends and professionals as well as people with a desire to stop drinking. The meeting lasts an hour, finishing at 8.30pm. There is no charge and no need to book or give your name; arriving a few minutes before the start is all that is required.
