Pontardawe

Pontardawe is a closed Alcoholics Anonymous meeting that runs every Friday at 7.30pm at Tabernacle Chapel on Thomas Street, near Swansea, and lasts around an hour. As a closed meeting, it is intended for people with a desire to stop drinking rather than the wider public. Thomas Street is one-way and sits opposite the police station on High Street, which is a useful landmark when finding the chapel for the first time. There is no charge to attend and no booking process, so members can simply arrive shortly before half past seven. Wheelchair access at Tabernacle Chapel has not been confirmed, so anyone with mobility needs should check with the group beforehand.
