Plymouth ACA: Tony A’s Twelve Steps (The Short Version)

This Plymouth meeting, based around Tony A's Twelve Steps, sometimes called the short version, meets every Wednesday at 7pm at Greenspace on Mutley Plain. As an Adult Children of Alcoholics meeting, it is for adults who grew up with a parent's drinking or with other family dysfunction, and the emphasis throughout is on healing from childhood rather than on changing a present-day habit. The meeting is open, so alongside those who identify as adult children, friends, relatives and professionals are equally welcome to sit in. Tony A's abbreviated Steps, written by an ACA co-founder, offer a shorter route into the programme's core ideas for newcomers. It costs nothing to attend and there's nothing to book ahead of time - newcomers can simply turn up and join the group.
